The weight on my shoulders multiplied by life’s friction coefficient
Far exceeds my capability to be efficient.
Time doesn’t stop, I’m going too slow.
This obligation should have been fulfilled long long ago.
Time is moving backward as I am thrown forward.
Forced to continue moving toward
Some predestined destination.
I am nothing but a manifestation
Of their hopes, of their wishes, of their thoughts
Hurtling forward infinity knots.
I can't stop, there are no brakes.
No way to decelerate.
No routes of cowardice.
Nothing to do but roll the dice.
I miss that innocence of youth,
That person I used to be.
But I've lost all of that now,
Life is no longer a lock and key.
I want that back, those endless days,
No stress and worry.
But it's too late to go back.
I've got no time machine.
I've become a difference machine.
A cold and calculating machine.
What's the use in trying, lying, flying, if you look at the probability
Of bringing back what I've lost, back to reality.
